Just a thought regarding the Galleries. With the posting of the Kent Coast Galleries over the past few days, I have realised that they have given me indigestion. No! I don't mean that they make me feel ill, it's just that there is too much to chew on at the one time. We have 24 shots here in total and I really would like to comment on each one individually but frankly I don't have the time, which is a pity. However if they arrived on site at staggered intervals I might feel less intimidated by the task. OK, I know that the sum total of the time must be exactly the same but the idea of doing it all in one go provides just the sort of inertia which I find difficult to overcome. How about maybe posting the galleries at staggered intervals, perhaps weekly, after the trip to give us a chance to digest them at a slightly slower pace? Just an idea. Now to do some gallery crits...............

Joe, it is interesting to hear these words because this point about possible overload has been discussed on numerous occasions and the three of us have come up with various ideas, some not too far removed from what you are suggestion. We will definitely make some changes here in the future.
It is difficult, and at times very frustrating, trying to come up with sensible and cliche free critique for so many images. In the meantime I can suggest that members, if they so wish, could deal with one gallery one week and another the next for example. I just had a look at Forum Gallery and have noted that you have been very busy indeed and managed comment on all 24 images in around an hour. I hope, by now, your senses have achieved some recovery Smiley.
Anyway, a very fair point Joe and thank you for your efforts on the Galleries and the overall feedback.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer.   Brendan Behan
